Meet Nate Johansen

Dr. Nate Johansen grew up in Heber City, Utah, and graduated from Wasatch High School. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Communication Disorders and Spanish Studies from Brigham Young University before receiving his Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Utah.

During his graduate studies, Dr. Johansen gained experience and trained in a wide range of audiological practices, including hearing aid selection and fitting, audiological rehabilitation, tinnitus management, vestibular diagnostics and treatment, and electrophysiological measurements. His capstone project focused on auditory nerve assessment and was published in the Journal of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology (JARO).

Dr. Johansen has had the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings, including hospitals, private practice, and VA settings. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, hiking, golfing, mountain biking, and watching college football.
